About School Days and Student Sessions

Sydney Writers’ Festival presents a week-long celebration of literature and ideas for students each May, featuring three unique programs: Primary School Days, Secondary School Days and Student Sessions. Designed to encourage a love of reading and writing, our Education stream provides students with the opportunity to engage with ideas outside the traditional classroom setting.
