Are Australians still lucky? Rebecca Huntley thinks so. In spite of darkening political skies and increasingly partisan media, Huntley believes that Australians are more generous, more progressive and more alike than we think we are. Rebecca roamed the continent to find answers to some of the biggest social questions of today. David Marr called her resulting book Still Lucky, ‘A lucid and intimate portrait of the nation today’. An important conversation with one of Australia’s foremost social researchers about who we are and where we’re heading. Rebecca talks to Jenny Valentish.
