The best young wordsmiths from all around Sydney battle it out to be named Australian Poetry Slam Youth – Sydney Champion. Spitting stories, monologues, raps, rants and poems on stage, each performer has just two minutes to wow the crowd. No props, costumes or music – just young writers sharing their raw truths with a finger-clicking audience. Performers must be 12 to 18 years old. Hosted by 2018 NSW Poetry Slam Champion Pola Fanous and featuring last year’s Rumble Champion, Helen Latukefu.

Presented with Word Travels. Supported by the City of Parramatta.
