Katherine Rundell (International)
Katherine Rundell is the author of six books, including Rooftoppers, The Wolf Wilder and The Explorer. She lives mostly in London and a little in Oxford, where she holds a Fellowship in English Literature at All Souls College, Oxford. In her spare time she is learning, very slowly, to fly a small aeroplane. Her next book, The Good Thieves is out July, 2019.
Deborah Abela (Australian)
After becoming a teacher, Deb went to Africa where she was caught in a desert sandstorm, harassed by monkeys and thrown in jail twice! She's since written twenty-six books including the Max Remy series and her climate change trilogy, Grimsdon, New City and Final Storm. Her dad's migration to Australia after WW2 inspired Teresa: A New Australian and her latest books are The Stupendously Spectacular Spelling Bee and The Most Marvellous Spelling Bee Mystery. Her first picture book is Wolfie, An Unlikely Hero.
