What are the dates of the 2019 School Days Program
Primary School Days takes place on Wednesday 1 May at Riverside Theatres, Parramatta, Thursday 2 May at Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, and Friday 3 and Monday 6 May at Sydney Town Hall.
Secondary School Days takes place on Wednesday 1 May at Carriageworks, Thursday 2 May at Riverside Theatres, and Friday 3 May at The Concourse, Chatswood.

How do I book my complimentary teacher ticket?
For every 20 student tickets purchased to School Days program, you are entitled to one complimentary teacher ticket. Please select these when you are booking via the online booking form or the hard copy form.
What year groups is School Days suitable for.
Primary School Days is suitable for Stage 2-3. Secondary School Days is suitable for years 7–10.
My students have special access requirements. Who can I speak to?
All Schools Days venues are wheelchair accessible. When you are filling out your booking form, please enter any access requirements. Alternatively, contact our customer service team on (02) 9256 4200 or emailmailto to discuss your needs.
Can students get their books signed?
Yes. Authors participating in School Days events will be available to sign copies of their work. Books by participating authors will be available for purchase at each event. Students are also able to get their own copies of books by participating authors signed.
Is the Sydney Writers' Festival going to photograph my students?
Sydney Writers' Festival employs the services of a professional photographer to record events throughout the Festival. These photos are for archival and marketing purposes. The purchase of a ticket grants implied permission for these photos to be used for the intended purposes. If you, or any students in your care, do not wish to be photographed, please inform the photographer at the venue or contact a Festival representative on the day.
Can I get a risk assessment document for visiting the Festival?
Yes, a risk assessment document is sent with your final receipt.
What are the Payment terms and conditions?
Once your booking form has been received you will be sent a tax invoice to confirm your reservation. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required within ten (10) working days of the date of the invoice. Remaining balances must be paid in full by Friday 22 March 2019. Requests for additional tickets should be submitted in writing. Additional seats are subject to availability.
