Caro Meldrum-Hanna is the co-creator, reporter, co-producer and series writer of the ABC’s critically acclaimed television documentary series Exposed. Her most recent three-part investigation Exposed: The Ghost Train Fire broadcast in March 2021. It charts the shocking 1979 fire at Sydney’s Luna Park in which seven people were killed – six of them children. Caro has won multiple awards for her work including the Gold Walkley for exposing the illegal practice of live baiting in greyhound racing, the Graham Perkin Australian Journalist of the Year for her coverage of the abuse and mistreatment of children imprisoned in the Northern Territory, sparking a Royal Commission in record time and making international news. She has also been awarded NSW Journalist of the Year and is a five-time Logie Award nominee, winning the Logie Award for Most Outstanding Public Affairs Report in 2016. Her work has also been nominated at International Film Festivals and has sold globally.
